The Provider Migration Utility allows the configuration data for MailEnable to be stored in either MySQL or Microsoft SQL server databases rather than the default TAB delimited files. The email data itself is not stored in the database. Using a database for configuration storage can improve performance when running with over 5000 mailboxes or addresses. The migration utility will move all the data between the different configuration types.

The Provider Migration Utility can be found under Start > Programs > Mail Enable > System Tools > Provider Migration Utility.
