MailEnable Features - Filtering

Message and Content Filtering
MailEnable Professional and Enterprise Editions provide integrated message filtering which can be used to define rules and actions as messages pass through MailEnable.

You can use these filters to search messages for words or phrases and delete or quarantine them before they are delivered to the user. You can mark these messages as being detected as Spam so that they are placed directly into the recipients Junk Mail folder.

Filters can also be configured to execute an application, forward to a mailbox,  move or delete messages based on content and much more.

Bayesian Filtering
Bayesian filtering is a method of spam prevention. It operates by rating the probability of incoming mail being spam by looking at words or character strings contained in the email as well as the entire context of the email. More info...

Scripted Filtering
System Administrators can configure advanced filters to analyze messages as they pass through the Mail Transfer Agent. These filters are authored as scripts, providing a highly configurable and powerful filtering engine.  The scripting language is similar to Microsoft VBScript and includes some custom in-built functions for validating criteria.
