Web Administration is an additional feature available in
Professional and Enterprise Editions of MailEnable that
provides an interface to allow you to manage various services
remotely via a web browser.
Web Administration allows you to
delegate management of Postoffices to Postoffice
administrators. This effectively reduces your
administration load, especially if you are hosting multiple postoffices (for example, one per
customer or company), each company can manage their own
configuration. You can also restrict the number of
mailboxes, lists created in each postoffice via the Web
Administration interface.
Web Administration
allows you to manage:
- Users/mailboxes -
create/manage mailboxes for users
- Directory - a global address book for each postoffice
- Groups - define a number of email addresses under one
single email address. When someone sends to the
single email address, it is distributed to all of the
designated email addresses.
- Lists - lists or mailing lists are similar to groups, but
allow more control over authoring and publishing
- Domains - domains can be
registered under a postoffice (one postoffice can have
many domains registered under it). Once a domain is
registered, you can then assign mail addresses, groups and
lists.

Skins
Skins allow you to redesign the look and feel of Web
Mail and Web Administration. By changing colours, icons and
branding, you can customise Web Mail, or allow users to select a skin.
A library of additional skins is available here.
You can also customize skins. Details on how to customize and create additional skins are available in the MailEnable
Skinning Guide.
