Re: unkown or disabled user in webmail

Hi,

Best way forward is to lodge a support ticket via the MailEnable support form below and provide access to the server via RDP or Teamviewer.

Re: emails in Outlook randomly re-syncing

Hi, What version of MailEnable are you running? In order to troubleshoot you will need to enable ActiveSync logging on the MailEnable server and filter on the problematic mailbox or device ID. Once you ave the logging enabled and the problem reoccurs the best way forward would be to lodge a support ...

Re: unkown or disabled user in webmail

Hi, Did you configure the post office to authenticate against Windows Active Directory? Try and login to the web mail client locally on the server via http://mewebmail.localhost or http://localhost/mewebmail. If this does not help then we will need to access the server via RDP or Teamviewer to analy...

Re: WIndows 2012 updates cause issue with MailEnableAppPool.

Hi, We are not aware of any issues with the latest .NET framework versions and recommend that all .NET service packs are installed and up to date. You might want to ensure that your running 4.0 64bit Framework as well. But as mentioned the example event log error you pointed out in your original pos...

Re: index.xml

Hi,

Migrating the configuration to an external database will help speed up service queries. However the index.xml files and message data is not stored within the database and therefore will not help with your problem. See how you go with the upgrade to the latest.

Re: Limit number of receiptents per hour 100

Hi,

The limit is for how many recipient addresses the mailbox can send to within an hour. It will not prevent inbound mail being sent to the mailbox.

Re: unkown or disabled user in webmail

Hi,

Do you see any reported errors or warnings within the Windows event log at the time of the login failure? Are you able to authenticate against other MailEnable services like IMAP or POP?

Hi,

What version of Enterprise are you running? Do you see windows event log errors being reported relating to index issues? Perhaps search your windows event log for that mailbox name.

Re: WIndows 2012 updates cause issue with MailEnableAppPool.

Hi, From the event log error it looks like you are running IIS modesecurity plugins. This is not installed by MailEnable and my guess might be a Plesk plugin. We have seen that this can restrict page requests and therefore recommend you disable it or review the applications documentation on how to w...
