Is this still the status of this today? I would like to easily be able to see how many messages are in the inbox and the size of the mailbox. Can this be enabled easily so that the mailbox table size field is populated? If so, how?

Their documentation is non-existent for doing anything remotely. I am working on a control panel integration project that has the same requirements. I found that this needs to be done on x64 systems to get the MEAOxx COM working. ME COM seems to be built specifically for 32 bit architechture, therefore you need to register the COM on the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Classes\TypeLib\ as well.
