On windows 2003 Server, you need to give user IME_SYSTEM access to the certificate using the winhttpcertcfg command. I have a similar problem on Windows 2008 R2, the only way i can cure it is to add IME_SYSTEM to Admin group, but it is not the best method. So still searching,Microsofts answer to win...

In regards to the checking email with POP3 via TLS/SSL. I'd make sure you are using the correct port number and that the certificate is bound to the service.Turn Debug log and see if you have errors binding to the certificate.

Aha! I tried something, i basically made.\IME_SYSTEM a member of the Local administrators group and it seemed to bind to the certificate with out error. So i assume , it is to do with the fact that, the .\IME_SYSTEM does not have permission to access the cert store even though the user has been gran...

Hi Has anyone successfully configured IMAP to work with an SSL Certificate? I have managed to configure it to work without SSL, however with SSL enabled ie(Require SSL ticked), Users fail to authenticate with the server even though connections are allowed. Has anyone come across this problem where the sort order of mailbox users doesn't change on the MailEnable Management MMC Snap In?

Which ever way you try to sort, either by mailbox,disk Usage or Inbox messages, it doesn't change.

Any one know how to fix this?
