Hi Ian,
Thanks for the reply..
tried mewebmail.localhost and still nothing happens when trying to create a folder in webmail...
i fail to see why being able to do everything in webmail, but NOT create a folder relates to a firewall problem?
so.. the problem still exists..

As a non native english speaker i struggle what the 'dismiss' button at the system messages will do.. does it clear the temporary block from the IP address listed and dismissed? if so.. is it just 'dismissed' once? (so it can be blocked again in the future).. or can i only unblock these ip addresses...

Re: DKIM
in addition; all the other domains DNS MX records point to the same mailserver domain.. (like @ MX 10 mail.[mailserver].com)
so should they all have individual DKIM keys? of would the domain of the mailserver suffice?
where/what does the receiving mailserver check?

Centralized Certificate Storage use in Mailenable
Hi, At the moment Mailenable works with a Default SSL Certificate selected via servers-localhost-properties-ssl where a list of certificates installed on the system resides.. These certificates need to be installed on the system by hand each time a certificate is renewed.. We work with a central cer...

Re: Settings of Temporarily block IP addresses
isn't there a way to do this? a right mouse block option or something which moves the temp blocked ip's to fully blocked list?
or where is the location on disk of these temporarily blocked ip addresses?
or an option/setting to make this temp abuse block longer than an hour?

Re: When a stranger uses a local address SPF check gets ignored completely
Navigate within the MailEnable installation path on the server to: Mail Enable\Config\Postoffices\(post office name)\MAILBOXES\(mailbox name)\Senders\Whitelist. Check if there are any files present and delete them. Chances are, that the mailbox whitelisted the address prior to disabaling the whitel...

Re: When a stranger uses a local address SPF check gets ignored completely
You need to log into the web mail client for recipient xxxx/xxxx and navigate to the "Options" page. Expand the "Spam" node and click on "Whitelist" option. Check the list to see if the recipient has white listed the email address or domain. Hi Ian, thanks for the reply! I logged in via the webmail...

Re: When a stranger uses a local address SPF check gets ignored completely
well it's great to have this many responses to this serious problem.. thanks! in addition to solving this very annoying problem (lets call it a bug) I went through the debug log.. which states: 05/15/19 13:44:58 ME-I0101: [1832] Whitelisted: Message from ([SMTP:example@domain.com]) has been whitelis...

Settings of Temporarily block IP addresses

When a stranger uses a local address SPF check gets ignored completely
Hi, I'm getting really sick and tired of this problem and really believe its a mailenable shortcoming. - I do not want to activate the 'authenticated users can spoof sender addresses', because that brought me all kinds of trouble with costumers who have specific software solutions which uses its own...

Re: Wrong version number, never see updates..

Open Windows regedit and navigate to: 32bit OS: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Mail Enable\Mail Enable 64bit OS: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mail Enable\Mail Enable If you see r...

I had enterprise 3.63 a long time ago and didnt think the version number would be important after downgrading and ...
