"Downgrade" from ME Professional 10 to Enterprise V9
Hi I am running ME Professional V10 on Server A but I would like to move it to a new server B and use my previous ME Enterprise V9 on server A with around half a dozen domains and make it available as a fallover in the event of server B having any downtime. If I uninstall ME Pro on server A and inst...

Re: Indexing service failed to start
Very strange. I reinstalled the program, MEMIS.EXE was restored to it's rightful place, and the service started.
Moot point, but its absence is confusing. All's well that ends well tho', so thanks for the help

Re: Indexing service failed to start
Hi
The path is Mail Enable\bin64\MEMIS.EXE, but the file is not in the directory. It is a new installation.
I have searched for MEMIS.EXE in the Mailenable directories, but it's not there. Reinstall?

Indexing service failed to start
Hi
I can't get the indexing service to start on ME Professional 10.47.
Error thrown is that the file Nemis.exe can't be found at it's prescribed location after installing the package.
Any clue as to why the file should be missing?
Regards
John

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it seems very weird. First thought was a DNS problem, but the IP address is fine.
I have assumed it has something to do with the auth process.
The WP stuff is sending direct from WP SMTP plugin
Cheers
John.

Re: LetsEncrypt SSL Cert Permissions
I am running ME Enterprise V9 on one of my servers. Never had a problem with this until I upgraded to Windows Server 2022. I have created certs in the Windows personal Cert Store in the past and all have worked without issue. Tens of renewals for each certificate have also worked seamlessly. Since ...

Re: LetsEncrypt SSL Cert Permissions
If the "Manage Private Keys" menu item is missing it means that the certificate does not have a private key and cannot be used. So you would need to delete and import the certificate again with the private key. Thanks for the feedback. Then it simply means Let's Encrypted SAN multi-host SSL auto-re...

Re: Failure to resolve DNS
Hi Ian
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I can find both domains using ping on the command line. Nslookup confirms the correct DNS server is set.

Re: LetsEncrypt SSL Cert Permissions
For information, the IME_SYSTEM account has full permissions on the personal store branch (and sub-keys) in the registry.
Yet the creation and renewal processes of each certificate does not apply these permissions when the cert is loaded into the store.

Hi Folks I currently run ME Enterprise v9, but I think it is over-engineered for my requirements. I am considering "upgrading" to Mailenable Professional v10, but I want to be absolutely sure the product is appropriate for my requirements.
