Re: Version 8.6 recent Webmail issues
Was this ever resolved? I'm having the same issue with the latest version (Enterprise 10.15).
Thank you.
Thank you.

Re: Email authentication and blocking
This is a function of the default Post Office, I think. If a user attempts to validate with no domain attached ("david" vs "david@mydomain.com"), the domain from the default Post Office is attached to the authorization attempt. To do what you want to do: First, make sure each of your post offices ha...

Re: SMTP Plugin Implementation
I had a couple free hours on Thursday, so I installed the latest version of ORF from VAMSoft to verify what I wrote in my previous post. It does exactly what I mentioned. You can configure keyword filters and URI blacklists to send a protocol error, rather than an NDR. It also ties in nicely with Ma...

Re: SMTP Plugin Implementation
And now that I think about this... My previous anti-spam solution from VAMSoft (http://vamsoft.com) did exactly what you (and I) want. They have the concept of Before Arrival and On Arrival. Before Arrival simply checks the envelope info -- sender, recipient, sender IP, HELO/EHLO response -- and gen...

Re: SMTP Plugin Implementation
I don't think there is anything in MailEnable that allows you to intercept the stream. Even MailEnable does not operate on the stream, I think. For instance, take the URI blacklisting function. If you send a message from the outside world to your ME server with a blacklisted url, MailEnable does not...

Re: SMTP Plugin Implementation
You're not going to be able to do it that way. You'll have to develop an MTA pickup event. At that point, the entire mail file has been created but not delivered yet. It's simply in queue. You can open the file, scan it for whatever and then return a 0 if it fails. I'm not sure at that point if the ...

Auto-Sender Whitelist
Greetings. One of the features I miss from my previous MTA/Anti-spam software was the Auto-Sender Whitelist -- i.e, if I send a message to someone, they can always send to me regardless of any anti-spam functions. My customers really relied on it because it bypassed greylisting, spam assassin, etc. ...

Migration Timing
Greetings. We are looking at purchasing the Enterprise edition after evaluating the free edition. We need the database capabilities, for one thing. However, I am having some problems grasping the timing of the migration function, specifically, where to deliver new mail. If I deliver mail to the new ...
