Does mailenable dnsbl return code support 127.0.0.3?

I am having some spam problems. I have configured three dnsbls in mailenable. One of them is the spamhaus CSS, snowshoe block list. It's part of SBL and ZEN. It returns a code of 127.0.0.3 to queries. It is unclear if mailenable handles that as spam. So does it? If not can that be added? I also had ...

Re: SMTP Access Control: Clear IP list?

I didn't, I just waited and cleaned it out in notepad. Some of those entries are quite old, which is a problem with mailenable. Especially logs! Logs get old, disk gets full, sometimes that interferes with system operation and creates an emergency. I have one mailserver on a DSL line that admittedly...

Re: SMTP Access Control: Clear IP list?

Yes, of course you can open the file with notepad. But with 85000 lines it is very slow. Painfully slow.

I did it but there should be a better solution.

Installation (reinstallation) did not open firewall ports

I migrated a failing windows 2000 server to a windows 2003 server. I took the HDD out of the old server, put it in the new server as a second drive. I copied the mailenable directory tree over to the new server HDD and ran the same version 5.1 installer over it. It seemed to work ok, except for when...

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

Andrew, I will work on that, as I said I rolled back but I am sure the logs are there. I did this upgrade on two windows 2000 servers and both had the exact same problem. Mail stuck in the outbound queue and when I rolled back it left immediately. So a mailenable bug that affects that admittedly anc...

Re: SMTP Access Control: Clear IP list?

As I respond to this zombie thread..... Heh MEdiag complains I have 65,000 some blocked addresses and this could be a performance problem. No kidding! I clicked the access control button on the inbound tab and it's chugging. With that many addresses it can't even open it's dialog, or whatever. I wan...

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

I rolled back the other installation that failed on installation of 6.74 to 6.54 and it started working. The mail stuck in the outbound queue went through immediately. On problem i did find with this rollback is the diagnose form, it was apparently not replaced with the previous version. It complain...

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

By the way, I have another installation that I upgraded remotely yesterday, from the same version to 6.74 but it continued to work. However it has the exact same Ipaddressmanager messages in the debug log. It's also windows 2000 and has been running for ages in a closet. On second examination, there...

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

I rolled the installation back to 6.54 standard and it seems to be working again.
Something about 6.74 that would not work on windows 2000?
Could be.

I can do more tests if needed.

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

Also, I am smarthosting through my ISP's ACL controlled mailserver. There is nothing in the logs that I have seen that would indicate that is a problem.

Re: IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

Oh, by the way.
I updated to the latest mailenable version yesterday. When this started, I guess.

Also, this is running on an ancient windows 2000 server.

IPAddressManager::OrderList raised an exception.

A user said he could not send email, or emails he had sent had not arrived. I sent local email to him and myself and that arrived. I sent email externally and it did not arrive. I have a few messages in my outbound queue, so that explains it. But I looked in the smtp debug logs and I found a few mes...
