Re: User Floods outbound SMTP

we limit the threads to 200, timeout 20, outbound queue poll is 1 sec..

That really don't help, the server is attempting to deliver all of this spam, but there should be some kind of inbound from authenticated user limit.

User Floods outbound SMTP

Is there any triggers that would help prevent a single user from flooding the SMTP out queue. We had da queue that windows explorer could not even list. Had to rename the outgoing directly, create a new one and restart services just to get new mail to go out. Looks like a valid user, with a valid pa...

Clean old Accounts

I can't believe that this has been requested in forums since 2009, but so far don't see anything. I need something that can go though 5000 accounts, and find any of them that have not been logged into in 120 days, or 60 days or anything. We have to find these old accounts, a script, program something!

Old Mailboxes

Could I use the users folder date modified to show when the user last logged in? I have folders that show back in 2009! Would this be a good method to know when the last time the user logged in? Or is this just the last time that mailbox was either logged in or got e-mail? i.e.e if it is at least I ...

Find Old Accounts

I searched a bit, but could not find how we can determine what accounts are old, i.e. accounts not logged in since, x date.

Any new suggestions, as the old ones were several years old.

Right from the debug log 03/04/09 09:24:13 --> SetEvent:Notify: Target: 636, Result=0 03/04/09 09:24:13 --> SetEvent:Notify: Target: 796, Result=0 03/04/09 09:24:13 --> SetEvent:Notify: Target: 856...

3.61 upgrade error

Since upgrading we are getting this error with Thunderbird.

The current command did not succeed. The mail server responded: UID FETCH command unable to open folder index.

This when I click on another folder. If I hit ok, click on a older message and then on the new one, it comes up.

More information

I got this moved, changed the security permissions on all files.

What happens is that we open up a mailbox, with Thunderbird and it just sits and sits. says loading message.
