version 6.75 MTA service crashes

It happens periodically, lately almost once per day.
It has happened in earlier versions recently as well.

Is there a log I can provide to help find a cause?

Thanks!
Bryan

additional options in quarantined email

When emails are quarantined, I have to make a decision to unquarantine, blacklist, whitelist, deliver or delete the messages. It would be handy to have those options on the right-click menu. Already there is an option to view the email. It would be nice to then be able to: Whitelist options: whiteli...

MX Records

I have outbound emails that never get delivered. When I look, the recipients are using mx.fakemx.net for their mx record. Does MailEnable move to the secondary mx record automatically, or is there a setting I need to look for that controls this? I presume they are using something like the scheme bel...

Mailbox Filtering via MailEnable Management Console

I want to set up mailbox filtering using word lists (patterns) like general filtering does. For General filtering, the word list files are found in c:\program files\mail enable\config\filters\patterns\ and are named MEFILTER-GENERAL.txt (for example)... I am trying to set up mailbox filtering and it...

IP block list - ranges

Is there a way to block IP Ranges (I see the single list under smtp / properties / access control) The list under access control uses x.x.*.*, but I would like to use a true range - x.x.x.x - x.x.255.255 or even CIDR notation. Ours is just a small domain and there is no reason for my server to get s...

Bayesian Corpus size

What is the largest size of the Bayesian corpus that you recommend? I read that the larger the corpus, the more accurate. I am finding that to be the case as my ham/spam messages approach 5,000. I plan on continuing to capture both ham and spam up to x limit, then deleting the oldest as I retain x n...

Re: Question regarding envelope file

Hmmm, no answer? I see where TO: is handled in the email file and in the control file. How do you handle CC: and BCC: in these files? Specifically, in the control file, there is a line labeled "RECIPIENTS" - do the CC: and BCC: recipients go in this list along with the TO: recipients? Thanks and ple...

Re: Redirect mail if account mail not present

Hi, Daniele - If I understand your question correctly, you want to forward email to a different email address (server) if it isn't someone on your server? An ongoing process? If it is a known person, then set them up an email account and enable message forwarding to their current email address. If i...

whitelist a domain or user from the mailenable enterprise .m

I have filters that quarantine messages, but quite a few get quarantined which should be whitelisted. There is currently a way to deliver the email with no filter processing, or to deliver the email but re-run the filters. I would like to see a selection to deliver and whitelist the email address or...

Mailbox message filters

I'm trying to add mailbox filters and can only add 10, then I get the message: NOTE: You have reached the maximum number of filters enabled by your administrator. I'm the administrator - how can I up the maximum number of filters? I've looked at all the documentation and knowledge base articles I ca...

I'd like to make a suggestion - I know that they have set up a text box where one can select and copy and paste the valid public key that goes with a DKIM key. It would be great if there was a button that would put it into a text file - append it. And if it was in BIND 9 format including the selecto...

Setting up DKIM

Is there a guide for setting up DKIM from the mailenable side? On the individual domains, in the dialog box that does the setup for dkim, there is a checkbox that is for including the user identity. If I check this checkbox, it appears that the message does not get a signed dkim block in the headers...

Question regarding command file

I currently create automated emails and their associated control files. I was wondering if I can create more than one line of "TO" addresses in the control file - more than one "Recipients" line? Thanks! {edited to change terminology from "envelope" file to "control" file. What I am referring to is ...
