In MailEnable all authentication is done with the postoffice name. username@postoffice is the login info not username@domainname. You can have multiple domains configured in a postoffice but the authentication for each will be using the postoffice name and not the domains.
Hope that helps.

Junk E-mail Reports
I have ME 4.26 Enterprise Premium running Junk E-mail Reports every 24 hours but the schedule seems to be somewhat erratic. Is there a way to set the time of day to run the reports or is it based on program start time or something else like that? Yesterday it ran at 5:44PM and today it just ran at 9...

Re: Newbie
Since it's on Windows 2008 I would say the first thing to check is the Firewall configuration. You will need to allow the MailEnable programs through in the settings of the firewall. You can either allow the exe files or specify the ports.
Hope that helps.

Re: Minor bug in webmail
No matter what i try, if I add an apostrophe in either of the questions fields it does not actually get added. It says "Details updated sucessfully" but if I click the Password Recovery link on the left, the data reloads without the changed info. If I start with a blank question field and add a ques...

Minor bug in webmail
I just discovered a minor bug in 4.26. Not sure if was in previous versions.
If a user creates a question that contains an apostrophe in the password recovery section the question is not saved.
ie: "Mother's maiden name" does not work but "Mothers maiden name" is fine.

Re: Upgrading ME-Enterprise4 4.22 to 4.26
I started with 4.22 and have just run the new version's executable for each upgrade up to 4.26 as of this morning. Make sure you select the "preserve the existing configuration" option.

Re: Folder refresh in Webmail?
The option I am referring to is on the server using the MailEnable MSC snap-in console. I don't believe there is a way to change this function without actually being in the server console.

Re: Outbound SSL using MAPI client
SSL works with MAPI now but only if I check the "Require SSL" option on both the server alt port 465 and in the client. Is this the way it has to work? When looking at the options and your documentation, it looks like SSL should work on the server if the user checks the box in their mail client whet...

Do I HAVE to check the option "Requires SSL" in order for SSL to function on the port?

Re: Outbound SSL using MAPI client
This is in the server log:
05/25/10 09:18:12 ME-E0069: (recv) socket [984] disconnection from host 67.152.101.2 before any command received. Error: (10054)
The mapi connector alert just reports: "Failed to connect to server for krunyan (servername_was_here:465)"

Outbound SSL using MAPI client
I am testing Enterprise Premium in a 3 server clustered environment. (I will be needing at least 2 for my cluster) Everything is working as advertised with the exception of SSL connections from Outlook using the MAPI connector. Client outbound SSL works fine when using standard IMAP or POP connectio...
