The new MAPI connector has also caused a problem on my PC (which is not having issues with duplicates). After installing the new MAPI connector, Outlook crashes every time I close it. I uninstalled the new version and put 1.64 back on my computer and it does not crash Outlook on exit. Problem Event ...

I was wrong about one computer work and the other not. Now both computers are having duplicates again using this new version of the MAPI connector. Any other ideas on what to do about this?

I tried the new MAPI connector on both PC's. So far, it seems to have corrected the issue on one of them but not the other. However, it is still a bit early to tell for sure as they have only been running it a couple hours.

We are now seeing this issue with one user as well. ME Enterprise Premium with version 1.64 of the connector running on Windows 7 64 bit and Office 2007 Pro. In our case it seems to be related to the client as the email shows up fine in webmail. Anyone have any ideas about this?

Ditto. We are having the same issue as well. This started some time after we upgraded to 8.51. I am pretty sure I checked the services right after the upgrade though so it seems to have happened a bit later.

You can, if you upgraded from 6.x to 7, run the old MMC application which would give you the required options.
