Contacts disappeared after v9 update
Before the upgrade (from 8.60 Enterprise Premium) all the contacts could be seen on webmail. After the upgrade, all the contacts from all the accounts are disappeared. VCF files are still on the server, though. When I examine a specific account which has contacts, I see that the _index.xml file is 1...

Re: Getting "MESMTPCS Inbound Queue Last Poll" emails
Thank you very much for your answer, Ian. Yes, I want these alerts to show up on my email address, but when there's smth I don't understand happens, I try to search, ask, look for information about that issue. And I still don't understand the reason for this one. Does that mean that my server sudden...

ESET File Security configuration
ESET File Security has a command line scanner called ecls.exe (command line parameters here) in the installation folder. As I know it uses the same engine with its older versions (ESET Endpoint Security) for Windows Servers. In the this forum, there are threads opened in 2012 (http://forum.mailenabl...

How to change default Quota Notifications?
Hi, I have many non-english customers who don't speak english. I waste most of my time giving support to these people about the default notification messages they receive (yes, they don't know how or too lazy to use translate.google.com). I already have "SMTP-NDR.TXT", "SMTP-NDR-FAILEDRECIPS.TXT", "...

Re: Incoming messages stop when I change the default SMTP po
Thanks, I managed to use the same unsecure ports (110, 143, 587) using Starttls option on my phone. That works well. Now, I am struggling with IMAP. IMAP doesn't offer a TLS connection method on the configuration screen and I cannot use that workaround for it. I created a new thread under MailEnable...

How to connect with TLS?
I am having hard time to understand how to configure my server to use both secure and non-secure connections at the same time, using all the features in MailEnable Enterprise Premium edition promises. I am somehow able to connect my phone and outlook securely by mixing SSL and TLS (Starttls). But in...

Re: Incoming messages stop when I change the default SMTP po
And I tried it. I could manage to configure two email accounts (one using secure connections, other with non-secure) on my Outlook 2013. But when it comes to my android 4 phone, the default email client gives an error when using "SSL/TLS (Accept all certificates)" option. The error is like; SSL23_GE...

Re: Incoming messages stop when I change the default SMTP po
Himmm... I can use the same port also with SSL, then... I just thought that I need to seperate secure and unsecure connections with different ports.
I am definitely gonna give that a try
Thanks!

Re: Incoming messages stop when I change the default SMTP po
Thank you for your answer, Brett.
So, about my reason for changing that port, is it possible to use secure and unsecure connections at the same server? After your answer, I cannot see how anymore

Incoming messages stop when I change the default SMTP port!
The default SMTP inbound port is 25. Most of us configure an alternate port for SMTP (like 587), because port 25 is blocked by the ISPs. Yesterday, I got a task to configure our Enterprise Premium mail server to also allow SSL connections. For that, as far as I know, I needed to configure port 465 a...

Change default SMTP port anything other than 25
Hi, I have a task to configure our mail server to use "ALSO" secure connections using SSL. That means, we don't have another mail server just to provide secure connections option to our clients. We need to provide SSL as an option. I can use SSL with no problems, if I configure the alternate SMTP po...

[SOLVED] Localizing system messages
Hi, We are using Enterprise Premium version for about a couple of years now. Most of the support tickets which are created by our customers, are mostly about unsent & undelivered emails. My clients are all in our country and they mostly don't understand these system messages and come to us for help....
