Re: FULL API EXAMPLES MAILBOX CREATION
Hi, Creating a mailbox involves creating the following: a Mailbox, a Login and at least one Email address for the mailbox. There are examples available here: http://www.mailenable.com/developer-resources.asp#Examples A practical implementation in .NET is available here: http://www.mailenable.com/dev...

Re: MAPI Directory
I suggest you download the latest verion of the connector and recreate the profile.
The release notes of the now current release indicate a fix where the global address list may not be shown in localized versions of Windows/Outlook.

Re: Mailenable not marking cbl spam as spam.
Our tests indicate that this is behaving correctly. These issues are very difficult to diagnose because you would need to be certain of the response that is returned by the BL provider at the exact time the request was issued (because the addresses can be added and removed between tests by the BL pr...

Re: Outlook 2013 MAPI 'other' option missing
The only reason I could think why it would not appear is that your MAPISVC.INF file is corrupt or missing data. Outlook displays the additional options when it finds and processes the MAPISVC.INF file. You may want to run process monitor and see if it is finding this file. It is difficult to see how...

Re: Bug ME 7.05: w3wp.exe -ap "MailEnableEASPool" 100% CPU
It would be good to upgrade to Version 7.07 since it has some improved logging that may give an indication as to the client activity that is causing the activity. See: IMP: Improved logging for protocols managed under IIS (ActiveSync, calDAV, cardDAV, etc) - there are additional logs under the HTTPM...

Re: IMAP issues with 1 account but mult simultaneous connect
I am not sure why the files do not appear there. I can only assume that your server is being detected as a 32 bit server only (are you sure it is 64 bit). Version 7 will install 64 bit services. Also, I can tell you that the error of connection problem when loading IMAP will not be related to the bi...

Re: IMAP issues with 1 account but mult simultaneous connect
Are you experiencing the same problems as the original thread? Since the original thread shows that Access Denied Errors are occurring - which typically would mean that the permissions to the message store are not correct (possibly because it has been moved from another server or restored from a bac...

Re: Webmail delete message issue in big mailbox
There must be something else wrong in the environment. 2000 items is not significant. Also, 2GB of messages is also not significant. That operation should take around a second to complete. I just tested against my own mailbox on our production server with a mailbox containing over 6000 items and it ...

Re: How to require webmail outgoing mail transfer to the MTA
That is not correct. Email from webmail will be processed by MTA pickup events.
The mail will be picked up from the SF inbound queue and typically delivered to the SMTP outbound queue for delivery to a remote domain/mail server.

Re: Remote Administration using COM from ME Standard edition
There is no simple way to expose the COM objects remotely with MailEnable Standard Edition. It may be possible by setting the host property on the object having configured the session with mearo, but as you say the object is not deployed with standard. If you are trying to do this with Standard Edit...

Re: Global Directory Sync
ActiveSync does not provide a global directory list as such. (its not a limitation of MailEnable, its just that EAS does not have a mechanism for listing the directory and mobile devices don't implement it). Devices do however allow you to execute a search for someone in the global directory - and M...

Re: Minor bug 7.06 & Fix
Hi, the EAS app pool should be able to run as either Version 2 or Version 4. Perhaps the script handlers (HTTP Handlers) for the site under IIS are not correctly configured for version 4. It would be great if you could send the meinstall.log file to beta!@mailenable.com - since then we can understan...

Re: Server hacked
First, you should run the diagnostic report and make sure the server is secured properly (ie: then its not open relay). If you search the KB for "relay" there is more information. If its secured, then the spammer must know a password. The message tracking utility in the tray utilityu will help you f...

Re: Notes
Do you have the latest MAPI client? You will need 1.56 (or 1.55) as well.
Also, you may need to reset the folder list within the client, so that the client binds to the Server's notes folder.

Re: Outlook crashing
Firstly, I would suggest reviewing the plugins and COM addins that are configured under outlook. Perhaps disable them temporarily to see if these have an effect. If the problem persists, then I suggest turning on troubleshooting logging and either raising a support ticket or sending the log to beta@...
