(Workaround) JSON returned from ME Web Administration AJAX servlet *is not valid*
I think I reported this plenty of times now, although it being trivial to fix it hasn't even been acknowledged. So here I go again. The web administration AJAX servlet (Mondo/Servlet/request.aspx?Cmd=GET-SYSTEM-MONITORS&Format=JSON) for Monitoring-Summary/Monitor-Details counters is returning invali...

Re: Mailenable Branding and Customization
I think that in theory, but I could be wrong, you should be supposed to be able to change the title via MMC [MailEnable Management/Servers/<host>/Provision/Web Mail/Properties/Service Description] but that option doesn't seem to be modifiable (at least on my install). Additionally you can edit the c...

Re: Branding issues.
This may help or may not, but be sure that "Use Small Menu Buttons" isn't enabled, this setting can only be found into web administration (Admin / Settings / Web Mail) and not into MMC.

Webmail Login Form breaks if a skin is enforced when __doPostBack is called
I noticed this behaviour in current version of ME, Basicly if I hit reset the Skin selection disappears and webmail breaks (logining shows it without proper templating) if I try to login. I "fixed" (that doesn't seem to cause any unwanted behaviour for now) it by replacing the code block starting at...

I can safely say my mail address, being publicly exposed for requirement, is probably in some of the worst spam harvesting listings and none get through atm. The pro point is that you won't need any 3rd party application, hope that helps.

Re: Spam Filter Recommendations (MXUptime Discontinued)
1. Whitelist/blacklist - At present, without setting up a filter (which is a global setting), there are no whitelisting or blacklisting of domains but only IP addresses. I found whitelisting domains to be VERY beneficial as many businesses have switched to using Google or Microsoft to host their em...

Re: Issues/bugs with Webmin (10.10)
Ian, I had sometime to investigate this a bit further and I found a culprit at least for what regards the issues on the System Monitor. Apparently the problem is related to Gecko based browsers like Edge and Firefox, because Internet Explorer 11 (Trident-based) doesn't seem to be affected at all and...

Re: Issues/bugs with Webmin (10.10)
Hi, Please add the host file entry for meadmin.localhost and add the host header back under our website bound to 127.0.0.1 to test locally on the server. See if the same behavior occurs. I know you mentioned its all internal but you didn't mention if you are accessing the interface via our website ...

Re: Issues/bugs with Webmin (10.10)
The test I conducted where on an internal lan ip, with intranet dns entries for the .local domain for the webmin IIS site, didn't actually test locally because I removed the hosts file entries MailEnable added. The browser I previously used was latest FireFox (Quantum), I just retried on latest Micr...

Issues/bugs with Webmin (10.10)
I found a few quirks within the web administration with a sysadmin: In the Usage section - Monitoring-Summary or Monitoring-Detail don't output anything (blank frame) In the System section - Attempting to restart a service from the webmin fails stopping the service and prompting a popup warning "Err...

Re: The Best configuration for Spam
Following are my Spam Settings, on my setup together with Greylisting they block 99/100% of spam. spamsettings.jpg 1) Set DNSRBL (dnsrbl.org), SpamhausZEN (if applicable) and SpamCop as both DNS/URL blacklists, set DNS to reject and URL to be marked as spam. 2) Set Greylisting to 5 minutes, or leave...
