BCC issue with smartphones - Possible Bug?
Hi there I've run into a serious problem with when using the BCC field with a smart phone and we've encountered this on Android and iPhones using Activesync. When sending email from either phone and using the bcc field, neither the main recipient or the bcc recipient receive the email. The email tra...

Re: odd new error
I agree. There needs to be some way of viewing specific abuse logs and a way to set individual parameters.
We had a client who kept getting blocked and and we couldn't determine why.
The problem was solved when we turned Abuse Prevention off.

Re: considering getting mailenable
I've run mailenable for a few years and it's performed wonderfully. I only run about 50 domains on it but I'm confident it could handle a lot more. It doesn't have some of the tools and options that mdaemon has but then again it doesn't have the price tag either. I highly recommenhd ME. Also checkou...

Limit log retention
Just wondering if there's a way to limit log retention to 30 or 60 days? Logs pile up and eventually fills the hard drive which brings everything to grinding halt.
thx

IMAP Calendar sync and sharing
I've been testing Mailenable Premium using the MAPI connector with Outlook but I'd like to know how to achieve similar functionality using IMAP for PC or Mac email clients where the MAPI connector isn't an option. Is there a way to share calendars and contacts and upload files to the Briefcase insid...

Re: Email not Synching with Outlook
I was doing a little more testing and there's still some quirky behaviour going on. Email wasn't syncing so I used the reset folder option to test some shared calendar functions. Prior to that I removed Orphaned cached items and cleared delegates. It took a bunch of emails randomly (about 25% of the...

Re: Email not Synching with Outlook
Hi Andrew
It doesn't seem to work.
I've installed and restarted the computer but email/calendar still does not sync unless I reset.

Re: All email dated to time of sync - MAPI
I was able to get the email account to authentic after a computer restart which I hadn't tried earlier. A note to others: you need to restart the computer after updating the ME MAPI connector. After I reinstalled the MAPI email account, the email downloaded again but with the client side email dated...

Re: Sent Item goes into regular Sent Item folder
Hi Nick
Sorry to waste your time. I was replying to an email in my MAPI account and it usually replies using the receiving address so I didn't check that. I'll keep an eye on that as I continue testing.
Thanks
Glenn

Email not Synching with Outlook
One more to add to the list. I noticed that Email is not synching. I could see new email in webmail and waited an hour but the new email never downloaded to Outlook. I used the Reset Folder feature which did synch the email from the server but it also redated all email. thx and hopefully some inform...

Re: All email dated to time of sync - MAPI
Hi Andrew I think I know why it rescanned and re-dated. I setup a new account to run another test and initially I used the mail server IP address until DNS propagated. When I changed the IP address to an actual domain name (i.e. mail.xyz.com) the Mailenable connector regarded this as a significant c...

Sent Item goes into regular Sent Item folder
More testing of the MAPI functionality. I've setup a new MAPI account and sent an email however the email ended up in the global Sent Items folder instead of the MAPI folder Sent Item. I have Outbound set to use the server "Using same settings as for mailbox connection". Shouldn't the sent email go ...
