Outlook 2013 Crashing Again

Hi there,

I had an earlier post on Outlook crashing but managed to get it working by disabling and re-enabling a couple of plugins. I also archived old email to reduce mailbox size from 6GB to 2.x GB which I think helped. I was able to set email to download all where previously, I could only set it to 30 days.

After last Outlook 2013 MS Update, Outlook started crashing again. I reduce retention to 30 days and tried disabling all unnecessary plugins but that hasn't helped.

I'm running ME 8.55. Not sure if 8.56 would make a difference.

Anyone having similar experience or know of any solutions?

Hi,

It would be ideal upgrading to 8.57 since contains fixes to ActiveSync you need to apply and then reassess from there.

I upgraded to 8.58 last night but Outlook 2013 is still crashing:

I'm having the same problems. Outlook crashing as soon as it connects. if I work offline no problems. This has been going on for a few months. When it happens I re-create the profile then it works, for a while. Very aggravating to say the least. I've tried all the "fixes" that you have tried to no avail. Re-creating the profile has been the only fix for me.

I've given up try to recreate profile and just use webmail however I really do need to fix this.

It make me wonder if my clients will have similar problems and I don't know if this is an Outlook issue or ME. I read somewhere where graphic card could cause problems with Outlook 2013. Seems odd but I have had some graphic card issues.

Any insight from Mailenable on this would be greatly appreciated.
