Problems with iPad running iOS 9.3.5

Hi,

I am running ME Pro 10 with the Exchange ActiveSync addon.

My client connects his iPad to his mail account using EAS, his mail delivery is intermittent, sometimes not getting new emails for days. The mail app on the iPad will show as having checked mails, and no new mails found.

If I connect the same account to my modern iPad with the latest iOS, even when connected via the same network, it works fine, but with the client's own iPad, the problems recur.

Is there are problem with older iOS versions, or is there something I can try fixing?
