Session Timeout on Compose

Post by cardidemonaco » Tue Apr 30, 2013 1:37 pm

We just installed 7.05 Enterprise Edition about a month ago and upgraded to 7.06 the day it came out and we have experience strange session timeout problems when composing a new email.

Whenever a user clicks the "New" button, the new mail form will open for about 3 seconds and then the user will get a session timeout error... even if they just logged in 30 seconds before. This does not constantly happen, but it poses a big problem. I've checked the Windows logs as well as MailEnable's logs at the exact times of these occurrences and everything appears to be fine.

I've been looking through these forums for the past few days but can only seem to find these types of problems occurring in versions 1 and 2 of MailEnable, so their solutions weren't of much help.

We are running MailEnable 7.06 Enterprise Edition on Windows Server 2012 Standard Edition.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Upgrade to 7.07 and try again and report back if the problems persist with any Windows event log errors that maybe occurring at the time of the error in web mail.

We are now using 7.09 and the problem still occasionally occurs... Our clients have learned to live with it, but it is still a problem none the less.

Hi,

Lodge a support ticket via the MailEnable support form and provide RDP or Team viewer session details and we can take a closer look.
