Unable to import users with special characters in the login

Hello,

We're evaluating MailEnable Standard Edition v7.52 with Active Directory authentication (running on Windows 2008 R2 SP1). It seems that we cannot import users with special characters in the username (for instance containing $ (dollar sign)). For example, when I try to import $test_user via MailEnable Management > Messaging Manager > Post Offices > postoffice > Import Windows Users > Load Domains, I receive an error "$test_user is not a valid name and the mailbox creation will be skipped.".

Grateful for your assistance.
