Issue with MAPI on Outlook 2016

MAPI connector when installed on Outlook 2016 seems to cause the mouse pointer to flip between the normal pointer and "busy" pointer. It is a consistent on-off-on-off pattern. It's intolerable and makes the entire computer annoying to use. Had to uninstall.

The MAPI connector for Outlook does not support Outlook 2016. The "busy icon" is because of windows error reporting. The search index is constantly crashing (almost every 2 seconds) with this error:

This is quite annoying as Microsoft is now actively pushing towards upgrading to Office 2016 since this week.

Not only that the search indexing doesn't appear to work with Outlook 2016.

I have tried on two computers.

Confirmed, indexing doesn't work on 2016 with MAPI.
