MailEnable leaves mails behind after mail has been retrieve using IMAP/POP

Hi All,

I'm currently implementing eGain mail solution on my network for managing Automatic mail distribution to Agents and the current exchange server is Microsoft 365. The current design is that i configure a forwarding rules from the microsoft exchange server to the mailEnable server and the eGain application has a retieval process that moves the mails from the mailEnable.

However, we discovered that even after mails has been retrieved, some mails are still left behind randomly and the consequently reroute a duplicate of such mail anytime the retrieval on eGain is restarted. Hereby leading to duplicated mails going to Agents on eGain solution.

Please assist with what i can do to stop this from happening. Also how to get the logs of succesfully routed mails and if there is error, ways to deal with it.
