Hi,
I want to see if anyone else has experienced this:
Details:
Enterprise version: 6.56
MAPI version: 1.45
Outlook version: 2016
Host: asphostportal
I can receive a task request that someone outside of my MailEnable domain has assigned to me, and Outlook will "Accept" it and it goes on my task list fine (appears in task list both in Outlook and in ME Webmail). However, If a CREATE a Task in Outlook 2016and assign it to someone (doesn't matter if it's inside my ME Domain or an outside email address), then it gets sent as an email attachment through MailEnable - NOT as a task that can be accepted by the recipient. I scoured through the documentation and discussion forums and see no mention that this is an unsupported function.
Anyone else experiences this?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Fail to Assign a Task on Outlook
Hi,
The first step is to upgrade your server version to 6.88 located at: http://www.mailenable.com/downloadprevious.asp (its a free upgrade). You also need to upgrade the MAPI client to 2.74 located here: http://www.mailenable.com/MESetup.exe
