IMAP.TXT, IMAP-TOP.TXT, POP.TXT, POP-TOP.TXT, etc.

On the root directory of the Windows Server 2008 R2 system on which I am running ME Standard 8.04, I found the following log files:

IMAP.TXT, IMAP-TOP.TXT, POP.TXT, POP-TOP.TXT, SMTP-IN.TXT, SMTP-IN-TOP.TXT, SMTP-OU.TXT

They contain some brief summaries of ME activity, but I don't know why they are being written to the root directory, how I can control whether they are written, and how I can control where they are written. I do not like applications writing log files to the root directory of my system, especially when I've identified where they should store logging data.

I've googled until my fingers are bleeding and I can't find anything on these files. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
