Hi,
You need to be using Standard version 9.x. This will provide an option within the postoffice properties to smarthost all outgoing mail via an external SMTP server for that postoffice.

Re: Change smart host according mail from domain
Hello Ian,
Thank you for reply.
It doesn´t work.
If I add a domain in an specific POSTOFFICE and configure a SMART HOST for this POSTOFFICE, all messages "to" domain in POSTOFFICE are sent using the POST OFFICE SMART HOST. I need a configuration that all messages "from" domain in POSTOFFICE use the SMART HOST.
Could you help me?
Best regards
Joao

Re: Change smart host according mail from domain
Hi,
The domain level smart hosting is not the correct option for outbound smarthosting. Right click on the postoffice name and select properties. Under the "General" you will see the option to configure an outbound smarthost for that postoffice. Domain level smarthosting is to smart host inbound messages.

Re: Change smart host according mail from domain
Hello Ian,
Thank you for reply again.
It´s right. I can´t configure smart host in domain level.
I have this configuration:
The default smart host of the server is "smartX.test.com". The "domain smart host takes priority" is checked.
- POSTOFFICE01 (smart host "smartY.test.com")
-- Domain
--- test1.com
--- test2.com
- POSTOFFICE02 (smart host "smartW.test.com")
-- Domain
--- test3.com
--- test4.com
When I sent an email "from" support@test3.com, this email was sent by smartX.test.com (default of the server).
When I send an email "to" support@test3.com, this email was sent by smartW.test.com (default of postoffice).
Did you understand? I need a configuration for smart host based on sender, not in recipient.
Best regards
Joao
