No SMTP-OU, Message stays in out que, remains unsent

Post by salorob »

Hello experts,

I have a bought the upgrade to version
Spent whole afternoon and evening, updating to Proffesional 3.12 of mailenable.
I found out that that outgoing SMTP is not working. Al DNS settings are fine, (since they worked great in version 2, and have checked them also)

SMTP logs, (activity and debug) show no outgoing activity. Mail that is send throug this server is directly place in outgoing queue, but remains unsent, and any manual action i take leaves the message just as unsent.

Inbound mail is working perfect,
and i can manualy relay outbound to these failing servers as wel.

Again the strange thing is: there is no registration anymore in the logfiles that begins met SMTP-OU, as these where there before the update.

Verry strange, and i hope someone can help me with this.

Thanx,

Robert

Does this mean that you can telnet from your server to a remote server? Say mail.mailenable.com? Here is some help with the telnet command;
