user not local - error 551?

Are there chores I must perform each time I create a new account as I don't seem to go past the issue of user not local error. Original accounts created before upgrading to ME PRO all work fine. Email boxes created after upgrading are boucing mails and can't send or receive. what am I doing wrong?

The "user not local" usually occurs because of your relay settings. Make sure that if you have enabled Allow relay for authenticated senders in your SMTP Relay options that you have enabled SMTP Authentication in your email client. In Outlook/Outlook Express this is done by checking the My server requires authentication option for the account.

You can find more details about relay options here:

The procedure MailEnable uses to determine who can send email out is here:

There could possibly be other reasons for the problems you are having, but you'd most likely need to send the output of the Diagnostic utility and the logs from the Mail Enable\Logging\SMTP directory to in order for us to see.
