user not local - error 551?

user not local - error 551?

Are there chores I must perform each time I create a new account as I don't seem to go past the issue of user not local error. Original accounts created before upgrading to ME PRO all work fine. Email boxes created after upgrading are boucing mails and can't send or receive. what am I doing wrong?

The "user not local" usually occurs because of your relay settings. Make sure that if you have enabled Allow relay for authenticated senders in your SMTP Relay options that you have enabled SMTP Authentication in your email client. In Outlook/Outlook Express this is done by checking the My server requires authentication option for the account.

There could possibly be other reasons for the problems you are having, but you'd most likely need to send the output of the Diagnostic utility and the logs from the Mail Enable\Logging\SMTP directory to support@mailenable.com in order for us to see.

just discovered that the emails were created without an active domain in the mailserver. my fault. next time I will create the domain 1st before emails.
