Stress Testing

Post by Adam_S » Sun Jul 28, 2002 11:36 pm

I understand that mailenable will work as fast as the machine its running on, however, I was just wondering how well mailenable handles itself under stressful conditions? And to which point will it be getting stressed?

We will post a scalability whitepaper in the next few days on our web site. I'll post a link as soon as this is available.

Although as a funny aside, one of us left a load test application running overnight on their development PC accidentally (testing a modification), and when they can back in the morning they had to clear 1.4 million emails... I think it took longer to delete from the file system than to deliver them

LOL...

I'd be interested in the results. A number of hosts have thousands of domains dealing with hundreds of mails almost all the time.

It would be nice to say that mailenable won't even break a sweat.
