Licence Activation for Professional version

Post by Steve Power » Tue Jul 30, 2002 9:07 pm

Can anyone please tell me how to licence the professional version of mail enable WITHOUT running the registration program.

The registration program requires an internet connection from the server it is installed on and this is not and never will be possible due to security considerations.

The registration program does allow a licence key to be installed without an internet connection...How do I use this feature?

Look forward to hearing any replies (hopefully as quickly as possible)

the NETBIOS name and number of CPUs are required to generate the server licensing keys. A means of doing this will be available through the MailEnable's web site in the next few days.

The registration application is also being modfied to be able to generate licensing requests as e-mails and placing them in the outbound message queues.

Unfortunatelty, in the interim, you will need to mail the NetBIOS name (Computer Name) and number of CPU's to
