How to setup Auto Bayesian ME V6.52

Post by solucionmike » Wed Jul 23, 2014 5:02 am

Hi, I need some help here, as the Bayesian Filtering instructions are just not clear / complete or my understanding is just not valid.
My idea was to to setup 2 email accounts say:
spam@mydomain.com and ham@mydomain.com
and get my users to forward all SPAM to spam@mydomain.com with instructions that for each SPAM email they send to also send a good one to ham@mydomain.com (to make sure we have equal numbers of good and bad emails in the SPAM and HAM accounts.
I was then hoping to simply configure Bayesian Filtering and point to the folder of SPAM:
C:\Program Files\Mail Enable\Postoffices\mydomain.com\MAILROOT\SPAM
And also to a Ham folder:
C:\Program Files\Mail Enable\Postoffices\mydomain.com\MAILROOT\HAM
and Auto Training would take over.
Please help, or point me to Step by Step instructions to set this up.
I did see in the documentation to setup other accounts and just wait to be filled by SPAM, but of course the users know what is SPAM so no need to wait, just forward SPAM seems a logical / easy approach.
Is this possible.
Many Thanks
Mike
