smtp / Properties / Inbound / ip adress Connection restrictions

Post by gokhan@bworks.tc »

Hello, is this "smtp / Properties / Inbound / ip adress Connection restrictions" restriction works automaticly?
İf it works automaticly how does it work?

We have found an IP adress which I have not entered in to this field, which means somehow the ip adres is added to place without my permission. So How did that happen?
I use 7.50 proffessional version

Hi,

https://www.mailenable.com/documentatio ... urity.html

Option: Add to denied IP addresses if this number is reached - If a connection has reached the disconnection limit, it is possible to automatically add the IP address of the client to the SMTP Access Control list. Be aware that if enabling this option, the Access Control list can grow and adversely affect the performance of the SMTP service. Therefore it is recommended to check the Access Control list regularly.
