password is not set when i create the mailbox.

I m using Standard mailenable Edition and mailbox and passowrd is created on local . but on server they give the error and password is not set.

The error message is:

"Failed to get password entry from authentication configuration store. An entry will be created for you with a random password to fix this error. You should enter a new password when possible."



i have already given the permission of config dir.

pls give me the soution.

This typically means that you have only created the mailbox but not the authentication (AUTH.TAB) entry for the credentials of the mailbox.

To diagnose, it may be best to post a summary of what your code is calling. Most critically it needs to use the MEAOAU.Login and add the Auth entry.
