mailto from other web

hi all.
i'm working about to use "mailto:" from other web to open webmail and compose mail.
When user is logon to webmail, mailto works good (just one edit in registry before, and all works good)
but when user is logout is not good.
Now i use http://server/MeWebMail/Mondo/lang/sys/ ... mpose.aspx.........
Is there any other way to send link to webmail.
