Anti-SPAM Suggestions

Post by teleunion »

Hello,

I'm new to Mailserver-Administration. Basics are fine, but as I saw, there are several ways to block Spam within Mailenable.

Do you have any suggestions which would be the best solutions blocking most incoming spam?
Of course free Solutions are welcome ;)

greetings

Hello,

I found this quite useful, It connects to the MailEnable MTA and does a pretty good job filtering spam and viruses.

We use SpamAssassin to handle our incoming mail and that works very well for us. The server is installed on a Linux box running on an old PC and we use a MTA pickup event and MESpamC to send the emails to the server for processing.

No costs involved at all :D

Cheers,
Brett
