two mirrored MailEnable Server?

Post by MikeDomingos » Mon Oct 27, 2014 6:43 pm

Hi all!

We actually have an instance of MailEnable installed on a web server hosting our client's mail. The issue is that their internet connection is very limited and experiencing some problems sincronizing with the server using IMAP.
To minimized their email client from freezing every 10 minutes, we thought about installing a MailEnable server in their local network.
The idea would be that, locally, they would connect to the local server, eliminating all the internet problem thing.
Out of the LAN, they would connect to the public mail server.
The two server would have to sincronize regularly, leaving the internet connection problems to the server and no more for the user.

Since users will connect using IMAP, either in the LAN or out of it, the 2 instances must have the same information, so they can see always the same information.
Is this sincronization possible between 2 instances of ME? Is it possible to replicate sent/received mails from one server to the other, in the 2 ways?

Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards
