Considering MailEnable as a ListServer

Post by carsonn »

I apologize if this posting appears twice but the first time it did not seem to take.

We are looking to replace our current listserver (Mercury/32)

Is anyone using MailEnable for its listserver capabilities only?
Ideally we are looking for a product that will run on Windows sever 2008 or 2012.

We looked at L-Soft's Listserv but it is very expensive but robust.

We currently have about 10 mailing lists and one two way discussion list but if we find a robust solution I imagine the need will grow.

We are also looking at openEMM (or EMM) but it seems to be geared running on Linux and its Window support seems a after thought.

We are looking for a solution that can connect to our organization email system (Groupwise and soon to be MS Exchange) plus we would like a solution that can connect to our organizational database that uses MS SQL.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Neil C.
