copy all emails passing through ME for a postoffice

Post by delta2 »

ME Enterprise 4.3

For audit purposes a client has asked me to save a backup copy of all mail passing through the Mailserver (In & Out) for his staff.

Anyone got good ideas on the simplest way to achieve this ?

Thanks. Stuart

I do not know if Admin responded to this with what we did (they did provide us the step by step instructions a while back) an archiving of all in and outbound e-mails and we needed a folder for each user. We set up a filter at the main ME level that made a copy/redirected of a particular domain to go to a single e-mail account (archive@....). Then we create a folder for each e-mail account. Then we set up a filter at the mailbox level that routes the e-mails to their folders. Other than the owner, no one else is aware of this is going on.
