We are facing a weird issue.
We granted tha ADMIN right to one mailbox for a client. They logged in and started editing some mailboxes through the Web Admin interface. Eventually this user was unable to login anymore. We found out that her user is appearing three times in the AUTH.TAB file with the same user and password but only the middle one is ADMIN.
In the Web Admin interface we see 3 times the same entry for this mailbox but in the Windows Console we see the mailbox only onces but it is back to USER instead of ADMIN.
Can we edit the AUTH.TAB manually to remove the 2 USER entries for that single user ??

Yes you can remove the unwanted auth mailbox lines in the AUTH.TAB file. However the question is how it the duplicates were added. What exact version of Enterprise are you running?

We are running 9.75. Yes i need an upgrade but i did not find anything about this issue in the release notes for version 9.78.

Ok. Would be ideal anyhow to be on the latest to ensure you have all the latest fixes and updates to core services. It may have been something that was fixed and not added to the release notes.
