I have changed my PO location, this worked 99% without issues. I have some users that are telling me their folders and some users telling me their contacts disappeared from webmail.
Well when i login to the mailbox, i can see say 5 or so contacts, when i login to their contacts folder on the new share there are over 100 files in there. I renamed the index.xml and refreshed and instantly they have 100 contacts.
The question is:
1. Is this the proper method to get these customers their data back?
2. Why is it not being indexed on a regular basis?
3. What is the proper method?

Re: Changed PO Location / Re-index question
The best way to force Mailenable to refresh the folder's index file is to create a blank file named "_change.dty" in whichever folder needs to be updated. This works for any folder in a mailbox. the _change.dty file is normally created by the system when a new email comes in at the same time the folder is locked by a client reading the _index.xml.
If you rename or delete the _index.xml, everything in a folder will show up as new/unread the next time a client connects and reads the folder.
If you rename or delete the _index.xml, everything in a folder will show up as new/unread the next time a client connects and reads the folder.
