Stripping attachments and html

Is there a filter available(or other method maybe) that would allow the stripping of attachments and html leaving only plain text. I have a smartgateway that forwards to a list digest system that I only want text to showup in.

?Write your own MTA Filter program with say ASPOSE.Email

I think that Independentsoft MSG is also possible but I battled a bit with differentiating internal embeds.

I don't know how to do this with MAILENABLE alone. It might be possible.

thanks hadnt really thought about that could maybe use aspemail as well now that I think about it. Guess I need to read some, whats one more project especially for a non-profit that we provide services for at no cost:)
