DKeyEvent Setup. Could not write private key file.

I installed DKeyEvent with success and purchased a license. Running the setup and New domain/selector and press ok I get "Could not write private key file. Check file permissions." I have checked the permissions of the Keys directory and can't get past this point. Any suggestions are appreciated.
