New version 9 Greylisting exception by domain feature

Post by pootwaddle »

I have a question about greylisting exception by domain.

How much of the domain does it match?

For instance, ncas.us-cert.gov - what happens if I enter just us-cert.gov?
Sub-domains change often, but not so much the actual domain.

I haven't found any FAQ regarding how this works.

Thanks for any guidance and discussion,

Bryan

From my testing it appears that you have to specify the entire subdomain.domain.tld so it's a literal match to anything after the "@"

Hi,
I tried this new feature and it does seem not work. Unless I am doing something wrong...
I have 3 external emails servers which are already using Greylisting.
mx1, mx2 and mx3.dnsmadeeasy.com
I added them in the exception list.
But the log shows that emails coming from these servers are still greylisted.
Have I forgotten something ?
Eric
