How to archive large IMAP mailboxes
How to archive large IMAP mailboxes
Company employees do not delete emails because they want to access the information continuously. 4-5 years information in the mail boxes. Mailboxes take a long time to backup. How do I keep old-year mail in a separate stationary place? What is the correct method for the above problem?

Re: How to archive large IMAP mailboxes
Hi,
Web mail provides an option to archive messages based on how old, subject, and sender criteria. It will then move them under a sub folder to a root folder named "Archive". This is probably the easiest method other than moving the messages via the IMAP client. In web mail right click on a folder and select the option for "Archive/Purge".
