SUMMARY
How to resolve Error (-2147013894) that is displayed in the SMTP log files.
SYMPTOMS
The SMTP Connector reports the following error:
Domain Resolution Error (-2147013894)
DETAIL
This Domain Resolution Error occurs when the SMTP
Outbound mail agent is unable to contact the DNS host. In this case, the
message is re-queued for a future send attempt.
An example entry in the
Debug Log follows:
04/10/02 22:43:48 Error (-2147013894): Could not
resolve MX list for domain mailenable.com
SOLUTION
Check network connectivity by pinging the DNS servers. If there is only a single DNS Server entered in the SMTP Connector properties, consider adding an additional server.
