How to use the log analyser utility that can assist in diagnosing various errors that can be found in the MailEnable log files.
This utility assists in diagnosing errors in MailEnable log files. The utility lists all the errors in the log files and provides summary diagnostic information as to the root cause of the issue. It can also request more information from the MailEnable Knowledge Base.
The utility downloads error pattern files from the MailEnable web site and can select a log file for analysis. Because the pattern strings are downloaded by the client each time the log is analysed, MailEnable can continually update the patterns to provide more meaningful information as to the root cause of issues reported in the logs.
IMPORTANT: The utility requires Internet access because it downloads reference files from the MailEnable web site. Also, some error pattern files are not currently available. MailEnable only provides error pattern files for POP and SMTP at this time, however this will be updated in the short term.
