Why does MailEnable not support the LAST command?
SYMPTOMS
Using Yahoo's email client and trying to check a mailbox using POP produces the error message 'LAST command not supported'. Log files state 'unknown command LAST'.CAUSE
The LAST command is not supported by MailEnable.
RESOLUTION
The LAST command was removed from the POP3 RFC back in 1994, and is not widely supported. MailEnable doesn't support this, and we are unlikely to add it at this stage. Yahoo uses this command when you have the option to 'leave messages on server' set. Most clients use the UIDL command to synchronise the client with the server. Contact Yahoo support for assistance in handling this issue for servers that do not support the LAST command.
