Attachments are being removed upon receipt of a mail message.
If attachments are being strippped upon
receipt of a message, there are four probable causes.
1. An antivirus plugin is detecting/cleaning a message. If all attachments are being removed, regardless of type of attachment, chances are that the anti virus plugin is configured incorrectly.
2. A pickup event can cause attachments to be removed. In this situation, check the criteria and ensure it is not removing all attachments due to incorrect criteria. To test this, try disabling the event.
3. A configured filter either at the mailbox level or the server level. Check the logs for the diagnosis of this problem.
4. A client configured filter or security file filter could be removing the file.
