Horde is being used instead of MailEnable web mail

SUMMARY

By default, Plesk creates a web site in IIS called webmail(default) or webmail(Horde) and uses the Horde web mail interface as the preferred web mail client.

When a domain is created within the Plesk control panel, it will add an A record hostheader entry under the Plesk website "webmail(default)" for the newly created domain. When navigating to the hostheader entry it will load up the Horde web mail client, if the MailEnable web mail client has not been set as the preferred web mail client.

DETAIL

To set MailEnable web mail interface to be the default web mail client, follow the steps below:

Within the Plesk control panel:

  1.  Click on "Server > component management"
  2.  Navigate in the component management window to "Webmail" and click on "Webmail".
  3.  Next, ensure that the mail server is set to "MailEnable Professional or Enterprise".
  4.  Set the web mail interface to "MailEnable web client x.x".
  5. Select "OK".
